GENERAL INFORMATION
These General Conditions of Sale have as their object the purchase of water taxi tickets carried out remotely via telematics network on the website www.veneziataxi.it, with headquarters in Venice, Sestiere Santa Croce, 328. Each purchase transaction will be governed by the provisions of DLgs. 185/99, DLgs. 206/05; the information directed to the conclusion of the contract will be subject to art. 12 of DLgs. 70/03 and, as regards the protection of confidentiality, will be subject to the regulations of DLgs. 196/03.
CONCLUSION OF THE CONTRACT AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
Contracts for the sale of services on the www.veneziataxi.it website are considered concluded when the customer’s purchase order is received by Venezia Taxi and accepted by the latter. Venezia Taxi shall promptly send the customer a receipt of the purchase order placed by the customer.
The customer, by submitting his purchase order electronically, declares to have read and accepted these general conditions of contract and undertakes to observe and respect them in his dealings with Venezia Taxi.
PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Venezia Taxi pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/699 informs you that the personal and fiscal data acquired even verbally in reference to business relationships established, provided directly by the interested parties, or otherwise acquired as part of the company’s activities, will be processed in compliance with the regulations referred to, including the obligations of confidentiality provided by them.
In relation to the aforementioned may be exercised the rights under Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/699.
CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS
The customer is required, before submitting your purchase order, to carefully read these general conditions of sale. The submission of the purchase order implies their full knowledge and acceptance.
ORDER DEFINITION
By sending an online order, the Client sends Venezia Taxi a proposal to purchase the services chosen (water taxi service booking). When the Client places an online order for the products he/she has chosen in the booking form, he/she agrees to purchase them at the price and terms indicated in these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Venezia Taxi will notify the customer of the acceptance and confirmation of the order.
PURCHASE MODE
The customer buys the booking service at the price indicated therein, to which are added the additional costs always indicated in the booking form.
Once the purchase order has been submitted, the customer will receive an email from Venezia Taxi confirming receipt of the purchase order and containing information on the main features of the service purchased, the detailed price, applicable taxes and means of payment and containing a reference to the general conditions of contract and information about the existence of the right of withdrawal, the conditions and procedures for its exercise displayed on the site.
PAYMENT
The customer can make the payment by PayPal or Credit Card.
Payment by credit card or PayPal: If the consumer intends to pay by credit card, he can use the payment procedure through PayPal, which is suitable to ensure the confidentiality of data provided by customers. If, on the other hand, the customer has a PayPal account, he can pay directly through his PayPal account, without having to use his credit card. For any information and further Legal Agreements the Customer is referred to the site www.paypal.com.
PRICING INFORMATION
The maximum capacity of our cab boats is 10 people with luggage. For passengers over 10 people it will be necessary to book one or more additional water taxis. Up to 4 people the price remains unchanged, from 5 upwards a supplement of 10 € per person is applied.
You can take up to 12 pieces of luggage. Up to 4 pieces of luggage the price remains unchanged, from 5 pieces onwards there is an extra charge of 5 € per piece of luggage.
There is also an extra charge of € 25 to be paid to the taxi driver if internal channels are used.
An overnight service charge is applied for services starting from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.. At the time of booking you can choose whether it is a STANDARD or NIGHT reservation (22.00 – 7.00).
WAITING TIMES
If the reservation is made on-site, there may be a 15-30 minute wait.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The consumer has the right to exercise the right of withdrawal. In particular, the consumer has the right to withdraw from any contract concluded with Venezia Taxi, without any penalty and without specifying the reason, within 14 (fourteen) working days from the booking.
The right of withdrawal is recognized in the head of the consumer in relation to any service purchased by him on the site www.veneziataxi.it.
MODALITIES FOR THE EXERCISE OF THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The right of withdrawal is exercised by sending, within that period, a written notice to the email address of Venezia Taxi.
In case of exercise of the right of withdrawal, the communication should be made to the following address:
If the right of withdrawal is exercised by the customer in accordance with the provisions contained in this clause, Venezia Taxi is obliged to refund the amounts paid by the customer, excluding shipping costs.
More specifically, Venezia Taxi will proceed free of charge to the transmission of the re-credit order relating to the cost of the goods shipped within 30 (thirty) days from the date of receipt of the email from the customer. This operation will be carried out through PayPal.
Venezia Taxi has the right to refuse any service booked for which the procedures and time limits indicated for the communication of the exercise of the right of withdrawal have not been respected.
EXPRESS TERMINATION CLAUSE
In the event of total or partial non-payment of the purchase price of the goods, Venezia Taxi reserves the right to declare, pursuant to and for the purposes of art. 1456 of the Civil Code, this contract terminated by sending a written notice to the customer’s e-mail address.

APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
This contract is governed by Italian law. The exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any legal action brought by the Purchaser under this warranty or any other legal warranty shall be the Court of Venice. Should Venezia Taxi win in any legal action, the plaintiff shall reimburse Venezia Taxi for all expenses, including attorneys’ fees and court costs.
POSTPONEMENT
For anything not expressly provided for in this contract, the rules of Italian law in force shall apply.
